In the UK at the moment we do not seem to have any sense of political direction in terms of social well-being. The parties seem obsessed with economic well-being, which is perhaps understandable in the current recession. But I am feeling increasingly disillusioned with British politics. No party seems to offer any coherent view of how they will address social well-being. Surely there is more to politics than the economy.
